　　12、碳刷 正常是有四个，两个是绝缘夹子支承;两个接地，同样用夹子支承并与整流子接触。电流从碳刷经整流子通向电枢线圈，碳刷由弹簧压在整流子上，并可在夹子 内上下滑动。电刷要求是单位面积通过的电流大，故会采用电阻小、电流容大的金属石墨制作而成。

Current from the carbon brush passes through the rectifier to the armature coil. The carbon brush is pressed on the rectifier by the spring and can slide up and down in the clamp. Brushes are made of metal graphite with small resistance and large current capacity because of the large current passing through the unit area.
